Role Description
We are seeking a business development and client services manager to support the expansion into Atlanta. This is a strategic hire with a clear pathway to a leadership position in our organization. This is a foundational hire for our Georgia expansion, suited for someone who thrives in building from the ground up and is motivated by the opportunity to lead and disrupt.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development: identify, pitch, and close third-party management and leasing contracts.
- Serve as primary account manager: own client relationships, reporting, and satisfaction.
- Oversee property operations coordination: collaborate with PM teams/vendors to deliver KPIs.
- Manage P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting for assigned sites.
- Ensure compliance, tenant satisfaction, and occupancy targets.
Business Leadership
- Assume overall P&L responsibility for all operations within the assigned city or state territory
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Make critical business decisions to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency
Client & Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and key clients
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships to enhance business opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level client concerns and negotiations
- Lead partnership development initiatives to expand business reach and capabilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Provide direct leadership to the Portfolio Manager, Technical Director, and Marketing Manager
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on operational excellence
- Guide and mentor team members to develop their professional capabilities
Strategic Planning & Implementation
- Collaborate with HQ to align local operations with company-wide strategies
- Identify market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
- Evaluate competitive landscape and position the business for sustainable growth
- Lead change management initiatives as required by evolving business needs
Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial planning for the territory
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Report financial outcomes and projections to HQ leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years in multifamily management, BD, or client relations (large-scale portfolios preferred).
- Proven success in growing property contracts or leasing volumes.
- Strong financial acumen: P&L, budgeting, KPI achievement
